Approximately 50 generic undergraduate students, 20 RN to BSN students, and 15 masters students can be accommodated on the Athens campus. Clinical facilities utilized by the faculty and the students are from a wide variety of health-care settings in primary, secondary and tertiary care. These facilities include Athens Regional Medical Center, St. Mary's Hospital, University Health Service, the Department of Human Resources, day care centers, schools, nursing homes, and many other community health-related agencies. students. Option 1 (2+2) requires that students
enroll in the first two years of study at
Northwestern and the second two years at

will receive the Bachelor of Science in Nursing
degree (B.S.N.) from Briar Cliff University.
Option 2 (3+2) allows students to take the
first three years of course work at Northwestern
and the last two at Briar Cliff. These students
earn degrees from both Northwestern and Briar
Cliff if they meet the general education
and major requirements at both institutions.
With either degree option, given sufficient
enrollment, every effort will be made to
offer the majority of the senior-level nursing
