Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), Lamar State College-Orange:"The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is required for admission into the vocational nursing program. The TEAS is a 4-part assessment consisting of reading comprehension, math, science, and language skills. Each section is timed with one minute and fifteen seconds per question for a total testing time of 3 hours and 29 minutes. A score report is generated at the conclusion of the test session. The exam is administered on computer, by appointment, at a cost of $26.
A limited number of study guides are available at the Lamar State College – Orange Library. Study guides can also be ordered from Assessment Technologies Institute at www.atitesting.com. Cost of the guide is $25."
